News: Anson Hu's First Media Appearance after Accident

On Feb 25, 2012, [Sprite's 2011 China Original Music Chart - Popular Hall Annual Festival 2011雪碧中國原創音樂流行榜超級紅人館年度盛典] was held in Guangzhou. A car accident last year had Anson Hu Yan Bin lay-off his work to recuperate. This night marks his first work appearance in media. He said that two months at home was very tough, so he intends to start early since his recovery has been well.

On December 30th, 2011, last year, Anson Hu suffered a serious car accident while on his way to Lanzhou's New Year's Eve concert, resulting in lumbar spine fracture and dislocation. He was then dispatched on a stretcher and shipped back to Beijing. As a result, he had an emergency suspension of work, and must remain in bed for three months.

On February 25, after receiving two months of rest, Anson Hu made his initial apperance to the public by attending the [2011 China Original Music Charts]. He received the award and came backstage to meet with the media. Anson Hu is walking at a slower pace, but his mental state is good. He was pleased to express that his rehabilitation is in good progress, and that it was the first time since two months since he saw his circle of friends, and he felt very touched by their concerns for him. In response to not following the doctors instructions and returning to work early, Anson said: "It is very hard for a young man to lie at home for two months, I can't help it. My workload is slowly increasing, and as long as it is not too tiring, it should be okay. Right now, I can't manage intense performances, I can only sing slow songs."

Anson Hu revealed that he did not rest during his recuperation period. He did a lot of thinking, reading, and watching movies while lying in bed. His next step would to get a swimming membership because the doctor said swimming would exercise his lung capacity. Anson Hu expressed that since he has to release a new album within the year, he was thinking about composition themes to cultivate his musical inspiration during his recuperation period. He said that after his car accident, he began to cherish his life even more.
