胡彥斌認為最有可能表達態度的兩種音樂形式就是搖滾和RAP，而且在三十歲的生日之際，胡彥斌也希望在音樂上給自己一個全新的挑戰：去完成一首完全屬於自己的作品，作為送給他最好的一份禮物。
演唱、詞、曲、編曲、制作、伴唱、錄音、混音，甚至錄音棚歸屬都只有一個名字，叫做胡彥斌。
Anson Hu feels that rock and rap are the two styles that can express attitude. During Anson's 30th birthday (Chinese calender), he wanted to give himself a new challenge in music: to compose a song entirely by himself as his own birthday gift.
Singing, lyrics, composition, arrangement, production, recording, mixing, and recording studio are all under one name, Anson Hu.
"三十而立" is a saying from Confucius, these four words have been translated by a literature translator as: "At thirty, I stood firm."
"立" means to establish, that is to say, our knowledge and learning, including our life philosophy, world view, sense of worth and personality have become mature and established when we are 30. - - Confucius.
In this song, Anson is trying to convey the message that he has matured, his journey has been established, and he's now standing firm at thirty years old; thus, I have rephrased the song title to "Standing Firm At Thirty."
