News: Anson Hu Represents China at Hong Kong's Asia-Pop Music Festival and Bears Song Debt

April 4th, 2012 (Article Date:March 26th, 2012) - Anson Hu, who recently signed with new owner Yuehua Entertainment and released a new album <Who Cares?>, represented China at the [Hong Kong Asia-Pop Music Festival 香港亞洲流行音樂節]. After attending the South Korea Asia-Pop Music Festival in 2008, Anson Hu once again becomes the representative of China-Pop music in this inter-regional event.

As one of the primary celebrities, Anson was first up to place a "flag" for the opening of the press conference, and signifies the increase in musical communication across borders, racial, and language. Those representing Hong Kong and Taiwan are respectively Leo Ku and Jing Chang, who happens to be friends with Anson. Jing Chang and Leo Ku have both sang songs composed by Anson, and Jing Chang's well known song, <黑裙子Black Dress> is composed by Anson which was especially tailor-made for her.

Other than asking about Anson's recent physical condition, several friends also asked if he was available to compose songs for them. Once Anson reached Hong Kong, those who had previously worked with Anson invited him to compose songs for them! Anson said with a smile, "I didn't expect to come for a walk in Hong Kong, and then carry a load of song debt back!" In addition, Anson now has interests in directing and since Leo Ku has similar interests, he invited Anson to find him when he returns to Hong Kong so he can help him find the best production team.

On the day of performance, in addition to singing the well-known song in Hong Kong <男人KTV | Karaoke Men> (Cantonese version sang by Justin Lo), Anson also performed his album hit <LIFE> the first time in Hong Kong. Anson's fans in Hong Kong were able to witness Anson's new transformation. When Anson saw the flower basket that was sent to his lounge by his fans, he especially thanked them on his Weibo (Microblog) saying: "Warmth is our memories. At that time, I was nothing but a newbie. My first time in HK, I didn't understand Cantonese, didn't know whether to go left or right. You were all screaming for me, I will sing this in song, and remember it in my memory."
