News: Anson Hu reveals, 10 years in entertainment: Could Not Be Myself

November 7th, 2011 (Posted date: November 6th, 2011) - After signing with new master Yue Hua Entertainment, the Shanghai-born singer, Anson Hu, has launched new album, <Who Cares?>. This is the first time he has left the international-level record company. As a beginning of his second of 10 years, Anson Hu is personally satisfied with his works. He believes that these songs can really express himself, and those in the last decade were of "songs full of sorrow worries."

Famous when he was young, Anson debut with EMI records (now: Gold Typhooon). With both creativity and excellence as a driving force, they quickly established his unique creative status in the musical industry. Until now, Anson Hu will always be grateful, and he expressed that, without EMI, there would be no him. With a big record company, the biggest advantage is that when the singer is in an imaginative exhaustion, the company can be a powerful helping hand; however, Anson Hu also expressed that with this "advantage," it prevents the singer from being themselves.

Anson Hu told reporters that, by the time his album <Unemployment Love Song 失業情歌> was out, his heart has been filled with "a sense of exhaustion." In regards to his popular song <Men's KTV>, he said: "This song is very popular, but during my promotional period, I can only tell reporters about the surface features of the song, and not about how the song represents in terms of an ideology or philosophy of life. This is because the person in my song, is not me."

In order to recover his sense of life, Anson went to study music and film director in America. Before leaving Gold Typhoon, he expressed his wish to study where else, and then to return to continue his journey with the company; however, the behaviour of Gold Typhoon was easily guessed, and it was hard for Anson to continue his journey with Gold Typhoon. Yue Hua Entertainment has now become the new master.

Life that can not be caught up is the best
The album <Who Cares?> is like the name of his attitude, Anson Hu not only invited Ning Cai-Shen to write lyrics, but also personally arranged the creation of his MV, and largely promoted his belief: "Since I went through with this path, I have a lot that people this age wouldn't have, but also lost a lot of what people this age would have. However to think about it, I am fairly lucky, some people lost something, but they will never get it back. I saw my highschool classmate who has a 4 year old child. Anson Hu said that he has always loved movies, and felt that the story is always a fascination.
